Kitchen Safety Tips
1-Always wipe counter tops off with anti-bacterial preparation, such as bleach water, prior to preparing meals.
2-Always wash hands prior to handling foodstuffs.
3-Wash all produce to remove waxes and pesticides prior to eating or cooking.
4-Always wash surfaces with anti-bacterial proparation where meats, especially where poultry is being prepared.
5-Never cut meats and produce with the same utensal without washing with soap.
6-Never leave food cooking unattended.
7-Always use a spatter cover when frying to prevent grease burns.
8-Never leave children unattended in the kitchen.
9-Never lift the top of a boiling pot while standing directly over it, stand to the side to let steam escape slowly and safely.
10-Roll shirt sleaves up to prevent tangling or dipping into hot mixture.
